How do I know how much money my Church will get from my purchase?

On the banner page, click on donation details to see what percentage each retailer pays.

How do I register a Charity?
A
Simply click on the Charities tab or "Start Shopping Now" and you will be redirected to our "Charity Page." Here you will see a list of Category's to choose a Charity, a search tool to look up a charity to see if it is already registered, and finally a blue "Register Here" button at the bottom. Just fill out the online registration to the best of your ability. We will then validate the information and within 48 hours have your charity submitted. In the meantime, please choose another Charity to shop for today if you need to buy something. Your Charity that you registered should be validated and added to our site in a day or two at most.

What exactly are "Advertiser Fees" and are they being passed on to me by using your site?

Simply put, it is a commission paid for sending people from one site (ours) to another(say, Walmart) and getting a percentage of the sale as a broker (more or less)........How about a simple question from us to all of you? Why would you not use Shopdonations.com? If you already have iTunes loaded on your computer, clicking on our iTunes banner will redirect you to the iTunes store to download the iTunes application. If you already have iTunes loaded on your computer, clicking on our banner will open that application on your computer. Shop within the iTunes store like you normally do. It's that easy.

Can I claim the donation as a Charitable Contribution?

No. The money being paid to the Charity is not a donation from the individual shoppers. It is generated from the shoppers sales, but there is no tax deduction for the individual.

How much can I generate for my charity or school by shopping through ShopDonations.com?

It depends on the number of supporters shopping on behalf of your Charity, School, or Organization. For example let us estimate 500 families are supporting your same cause and spend an average of $750.00 per year shopping on-line. We also estimate that the average advertiser fees are about 4%. This would net your cause about $15,000.00 per year. These are estimates and you can see from this example the importance of spreading the word to the Charities supporters. ShopDonations.com can have a dramatic financial impact to fund raising.

What is the number next to my Charity when I am searching for it?

The number next to each non-profit is a unique identifer that is passed onto the retailers that you visit. This is how we identify what non-profits have earned a donation.
